JEWEL -- a Vintage 80s Ludwig
SPARKLY JEWEL.. she’s a vintage 80s Ludwig show-stopper with original Black and White badges. When we acquired Jewel, she was nothing but shells. No hardware, no hoops, no heads. After a little research we discovered she was one of Ludwig's "transitional" kits. When Ludwig was creating a more affordable line of drums, they went through a series of attempts until they conceived the Rocker line. Jewel was one of those attempts. She has the higher-end shells, but the mini classic lugs on the toms.
It was obvious that someone really loved and toured with Jewel as her original black wraps had quite a few dents and scratches. So we were inspired to make her shine again... literally. Miss Jewel has over 17,000 Preciosa Flat Back VIVA 12 Rhinestones Crystals adorning her shells. Each stone applied one at a time by hand. She is one sparkly lady!
This kit has all new Ludwig hardware, legs, and upgraded die cast kick drum hoop claws. It also has a new Ludwig Atlas double tom mount, and all new hoops.

All drums are two headed. The tom tom and floor tom batter heads are Ludwig Silver Dot clear and kick drum batter head is Remo Powerstroke Smooth White. The resonant heads on the tom toms are Remo Ambassador clear, the kick drum resonant head is Remo Powerstroke Pro Ebony.
